Trust the Process

When I first started blogging, I had this crazy habit of measuring myself to other people and their achievements. I would watch my favorite YouTubers and read posts from my favorite bloggers and then try to film like them or write like them. When it was time for me to start creating, I’d attempt to use similar styles but the results would never be the same. I’d always turn myself away from the thought of creating certain types of content because I didn’t have the tools that I saw the people I watched/ admired use and I usually was left feeling like I’m wasting my time, that I’m not good enough, and other negative thoughts.

Throughout the years of making my blog what it is today, I’ve learned that comparing yourself and emulating your style to be like others, only sets you up for failure in the end. One thing I regret starting out as a blogger was doubting my creativity and not trusting myself to create dope content on my own. That’s why I am here now to let you know that if you’re having second thoughts on something you’re passionate about, STOP! Where you are right now is exactly where you are supposed to be.

Trust the Process.

Respect the Struggle.

Embrace the Obstacles.

Grow at Your Own Pace.

We keep telling ourselves that we aren’t good enough, that we still have so far to go, that we’ll never reach this extreme ‘goal’ or ‘standards’ we hold ourselves to. Every step of your journey is part of your journey. There are always going to be obstacles and hardships when it comes to going for the things we want in life. You will have plenty of down times and dull moments (it’s all a part of the process), sometimes we’re not going to be moving at all, but instead standing still and we need to know and understand that being still is okay. instead of dwelling on what went wrong, focus on what went right and plan your next moves from there. think about what you can do or say to improve yourself rather than getting in a funk about all the negatives.

We’re supposed to be tired.

We’re supposed to be defeated.

We’re supposed to get caught up in a few roadblocks along the way.

We’re supposed to be stagnant and in shambles.

Just like we will have moments of great success, perfection, moments where we can’t stop smiling because it feels like everything is falling into place. We will also have those shitty moments where nothing we do goes right or didn’t come out how we expected. My most recent incident was the other day; I was trying to film a video for my channel and the camera cut off halfway through without me even knowing. I was mad, angry, frustrated and I almost gave up that day, but I gave myself a break instead to cool off, and then started over.

Every trial, error, victory, and ‘W’ we get is a part of our journey. It’s important that we remind ourselves that we’re doing just fine—right where we are. We have to tell ourselves that we are strong and capable, that we can push through, that we are enough and do have what it takes

I believe that we all go through what we go through the way we do so that when we get to where we want to be, we are prepared for what it has in store as well as being able to appreciate your own blueprint followed to get there. If things are just given to us the value of that desired thing aren’t as high or as great. Are ups and downs are what make the journey personal and unique. You are a person who is constantly growing, changing, learning, becoming, and succeeding. Where you are right now, is exactly where you are supposed to be.Trust in this current moment, and most importantly, trust in yourself.

To Living A Fulfilled Life That’s Meant For Fou.

Trust the Process.
